Angus primarily focuses on asset tracking and recovery assignments in relation to both investor-state and commercial disputes. His expertise principally lies in unravelling complex offshore structures, with a particular focus on identifying assets of debtors emanating from Latin America.
Recent work includes:
Identifying the assets of a LATAM national held across multiple jurisdictions including the US, Panama, Spain, BVI and France;
Pre-transactional investigations including recent assignments in Europe, South Africa, Israel, and Azerbaijan;
A long-running investor-state arbitration in Latin America;
Angus holds an MSc in Globalisation & Latin American Development from University College London and a BA in Politics & Spanish from the University of Leeds. He has previously lived and worked in Buenos Aires and Medellín. Angus speaks Spanish, Portuguese and intermediate French.
