Analyst, Dispute Consulting
Angus is an analyst in GPW’s Dispute Consulting and Investigations team based in London. Since joining GPW, his work has primarily focused on asset tracking and recovery assignments in relation to both investor-state and commercial disputes. His expertise principally lies in unravelling complex offshore structures, with a particular focus on identifying assets of debtors emanating from Latin America. In addition to his asset recovery work, Angus supports GPW’s business intelligence team with their pre-transactional investigations including recent assignments in Europe, South Africa, Israel, and Azerbaijan.
Prior to joining GPW, Angus worked at a London-based political and security risk advisory firm. In this role, he applied his extensive knowledge and experience of Latin America and the Caribbean to provide support for clients operating throughout the region.
Angus holds an MSc in Globalisation & Latin American Development from University College London and a BA in Politics & Spanish from the University of Leeds. He has previously lived and worked in Buenos Aires and Medellín. Further to his native English, Angus speaks Spanish, Portuguese and intermediate French.
