Dina provides investigative research in the context of multi-jurisdictional transactions and disputes principally focused on the MENA region. Dina has a strong background in the region and in civil law jurisdictions, having grown up in Abu Dhabi and worked at various international law firms in Dubai.
Recent work includes:
UAE asset investigation on behalf of banks and corporates;
Due diligence investigation into a prominent Middle Eastern business figure for a UK hedge fund;
Tracing the assets of an Iranian debtor for the UAE office of an international bank;
Political risk analysis in Jordan, Egypt and the UAE for a large US tech and media company seeking to invest in the region.
Dina holds an MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law and a BA in Political Science from the American University of Beirut. As well as the UAE, she has previously lived in London and Beirut. Dina is a fluent Arabic and English speaker.
