Analyst, Middle East
Paola Tenconi is an analyst in GPW’s Dispute Consulting and Investigations team based in Dubai. Drawing on her experience in the investigations and intelligence sector, Paola carries out open and human source investigative analysis on a broad range of matters including asset tracing, complex fraud investigations and pre-transactional due diligence assignments. With significant and diverse international experience, and proficiency in five languages, Paola is able to work across a number of jurisdictions although her primary focus is on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Prior to joining GPW, Paola worked in a number of roles spanning country risk analysis, journalism, investigations and art market due diligence in London, Geneva, Rio De Janeiro, Amman and the West Bank. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first-class degree in Arabic with Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and also has an MSc in Conflict Studies from the LSE. As well as her native English, Paola speaks Arabic, French, Spanish, Italian and elementary Portuguese.
