Drawing on her experience in the investigations and intelligence sector, Paola carries out open and human source investigative analysis on a broad range of matters including asset tracing, complex fraud investigations and pre-transactional due diligence assignments.
Prior to joining GPW, Paola worked in a number of roles spanning country risk analysis, journalism, investigations and art market due diligence in London, Geneva, Rio De Janeiro, Amman and the West Bank.
Recent work includes:
Pre-transactional due diligence and risk assessments in the Gulf on behalf of corporate clients;
An investigation into allegations of judicial corruption in the MENA region;
Various UAE and overseas asset traces and complex insurance fraud investigations.
She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first-class degree in Arabic with Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and also has an MSc in Conflict Studies from the LSE. As well as her native English, Paola speaks Arabic, French, Spanish, Italian and elementary Portuguese.
