Sebastian is an experienced investigator, with a particular focus on disputes related to Russia and the CIS region. He advises clients on complex disputes involving fraud, asset recovery and a range of cross-border litigation and arbitration claims.
Recent work includes:
Exposing the underhand PR tactics of a client’s adversary in a politicised dispute to bring about a settlement;
Identifying points of leverage for settlement talks in an asset recovery investigation;
Identifying the beneficiaries of a fraud perpetrated against a client;
Sebastian joined GPW from a specialist dispute consultancy, with past experience in the Big 4 and a major US investigations firm.
A Russian speaker, Sebastian studied Russian and the University of Bristol and has lived and worked in Moscow and St Petersburg. Sebastian is a trustee of a charity which funds anti-terrorism research.
